A prayer gathering for Tishaa Kumar, the daughter of T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar, took place in Mumbai, where numerous celebrities attended to pay their final respects. Kumar succumbed to cancer on July 18 after a lengthy struggle. She was just 20 years old. T-Series issued a statement expressing: "Tishaa Kumar, the daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday following a prolonged illness. This is a challenging period for the family, and we respectfully request that their privacy be maintained." Among those present at the funeral were Riteish Deshmukh, Saiee Manjrekar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Kushalli Kumar.
Actor and director Divya Khosla shared a tribute to Kumar on Instagram, posting a series of photos from their time together. She captioned the photos: "Tishaa, you will always be in our hearts 💔 gone too soon. @tanyasingghofficial, may God grant you the strength to endure this profound loss 🙏" A post shared by Divya Khosla (@divyakhossla) Kumar had been battling cancer for three years and had recently sought treatment in Germany. According to Pinkvilla, Tishaa was born on September 6, 2003, to Krishan and Tanya Singh.
