UAE Haj pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia are advised to receive flu vaccines and all obligatory vaccinations prior to their departure. The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has urged all pilgrims to obtain the necessary basic doses at least 15 days before their trip to ensure the efficacy of the vaccine and to establish sufficient immunity for prevention.
The health ministry has also emphasized the importance of pilgrims ensuring that their vaccinations are documented on the international vaccination card by accredited health centers and adhering to all guidelines and precautions before and during travel. It is compulsory to receive all necessary vaccinations, particularly for influenza, and to follow all guidelines and precautions before UAE pilgrims journey to Saudi Arabia for Umrah and Haj rituals.
