After a considerable amount of time, actress Preity Zinta will once again grace the Cannes red carpet. The Dil Se.. star was sighted at the Mumbai airport late at night on Wednesday. Just before entering the airport premises, she was captured by the paparazzi. It is reported that Preity made her debut at Cannes in 2006, attending the premieres of two films, The Wind That Shakes The Barley and Paris, Je T'aime. Her impeccable sense of style received much praise. Fast forward to 2013, Preity made a comeback at the French Rivera as the brand ambassador for the luxury watch brand, Chopard.
The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, which commenced on May 14, will continue until May 25. Recently, Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan garnered attention with her glamorous presence at this prestigious film festival. Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is also present at Cannes and will soon grace the iconic red carpet.
Although Kiara Advani was also present at Cannes this year, she did not walk the red carpet. Instead, she participated in several panel discussions. On the work front, Preity is making her comeback to the silver screen with the film Lahore 1947, starring opposite Sunny Deol. The movie, which was officially announced last October, has attracted attention due to its star-studded cast and promising storyline. Accomplished actor Shabana Azmi and Ali Fazal have also joined the cast of 'Lahore 1947' in significant roles. The film will also mark the on-screen collaboration of Sunny Deol and his elder son Karan Deol.
