President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed held a meeting with Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of Egypt, during a private visit to New Alamein City that spanned several days.
During the encounter, Sheikh Mohamed and the Egyptian leader engaged in discussions about the robust fraternal connections between their nations, covering various areas of collaboration. They sought avenues to strengthen these bonds at every level, with the goal of advancing mutual interests and fulfilling the desires of their citizens for increased advancement and prosperity.
Moreover, the two heads of state shared perspectives on regional and global issues of shared interest. Sheikh Mohamed and President El-Sisi reiterated their dedication to continuous dialogue on diverse topics. They praised the strong fraternal links between the UAE and Egypt, highlighted by their consistent alignment.
The leaders also visited New Alamein City, where they were briefed on its significant landmarks and reviewed the status of current construction and development initiatives. At the end of his trip to Egypt, the President left from El Alamein Airport, with El-Sisi and several high-ranking officials bidding him farewell.
