President Sheikh Mohamed held a meeting with students who are currently pursuing their studies at Chinese universities and institutions on Friday, May 31, as part of his two-day state visit to China. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed urged the students to portray a positive image of the UAE in China by reflecting the country's values and principles in their conduct.
The President also emphasized that upon their return, the students would play a vital role in strengthening bilateral relations by serving as cultural liaisons between the Emirati and Chinese communities. The students expressed their joy at meeting the President, expressing gratitude for his unwavering support and encouragement towards young Emiratis, both domestically and internationally. They highlighted that the meeting served as a significant morale booster for their academic pursuits and pledged to energetically contribute to the development of the UAE upon their return.
The meeting was attended by members of the President's accompanying delegation. Before his visit to China, Sheikh Mohamed had spent two days in Korea. The visit to Korea affirmed the increasing synergy between the two countries across various domains, as evidenced by the UAE's non-oil foreign trade volume with Korea reaching Dh19.4 billion in 2023.
