President Sheikh Mohamed has expressed his condolences to President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal following the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of 18 individuals on board. A passenger aircraft operated by Nepal's Saurya Airlines met with disaster and burst into flames during its departure from Kathmandu on Wednesday. Authorities confirmed that only the pilot managed to survive. The 50-seat plane, which included two crew members and 17 technicians, was en route for routine maintenance at Nepal's newly established Pokhara airport, known for its aircraft maintenance facilities, according to officials.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal provided details in a statement, explaining that "shortly after takeoff... the aircraft deviated to the right and crashed on the eastern side of the runway." Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, along with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also extended their condolences to the Nepalese president.
