President Sheikh Mohamed has conveyed his sympathies to King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand via a condolence message following the tragic loss of life due to severe flooding triggered by intense rainfall.
Additionally, the President expressed hopes for a quick recovery for all those who were injured. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, along with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, also sent their condolences to the Thai monarch.
It is reported that in the past few days, sudden floods resulting from the monsoon rains in Thailand have claimed the lives of 22 individuals. According to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, 19 people were injured and over 30,000 households were impacted across 13 provinces within the last ten days.
