President Sheikh Mohamed used X to extend his wishes to the community on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday. He stated: "On the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we ask God to bestow his mercy on all of humanity and bless the world with peace and stability." In most Islamic countries, including the Gulf countries, the Prophet's birthday is celebrated on 12 Rabi’ Al-Awwal, which is the third month of the Islamic calendar.

The UAE has designated Sunday, September 15, as a paid holiday for both the private and public sectors in observance of the Prophet's birthday. In Sharjah, public parking will be free on Sunday; however, this does not apply to seven-day paid public parking zones, which can be identified by blue parking signs. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has announced that its centers in Dubai will be closed on Sunday due to the public holiday, meaning no visa amnesty services will be available.

Additionally, entities such as the RTA have also announced the closure of their service centers on September 15. The Ajman Driving Academy, along with a vehicle registration and inspection center in Ajman, will also be closed on this occasion. Following this holiday, UAE residents can look forward to a longer break in December for National Day. December 2 and 3 fall on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, creating a four-day holiday when combined with the Saturday-Sunday weekend.
