Global fashion retailer Primark could soon establish a presence in the UAE. Leading international retail franchise operator Alshaya Group revealed on Thursday a strategic alliance with the British fashion brand to investigate possibilities of introducing its stores to the Middle East.

In a press release, John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group, stated that discussions are underway with Primark to expand its footprint in the region. "We are immensely proud to collaborate with Primark to explore potential avenues to bring their stores to the region. For several years, consumers across the region have expressed a desire for Primark, and we eagerly anticipate the commencement of a fruitful partnership that will facilitate the introduction of their exceptional in-store experience to the GCC," Hadden commented.

Primark, initially established in Dublin, Ireland, 55 years ago, currently manages over 450 stores across 17 markets. The brand is renowned for offering customers high-quality fashion ranges and essential items at affordable and accessible prices.
