Princess Yachts, a renowned British shipyard, has unveiled the newest member of its X Class series, the X90. This 27.4-metre vessel will occupy a position between the 24.3-metre X80 and the flagship X95 Vista. Anticipated for launch in 2026, the X90 distinguishes itself with a low, open-plan cockpit featuring a glass transom and folding bulwark balconies that expand the space and offer panoramic 180-degree views, whether standing or seated. The cockpit is equipped with sofa seating, a wet bar, and an optional television.
Accommodation is provided across three double cabins, including an owner's suite on the main deck with 180-degree glazing. An optional gullwing door offers private access to the foredeck terrace, which can be used for deck gear when not in service. The main deck also houses the galley, which can be customized to be open to the main saloon with a sociable breakfast bar or fully enclosed. Notably, the X90 introduces curved patio doors connecting the cockpit to the main saloon, transforming the formal, 10-person dining table into an al fresco setting when opened.
The flybridge showcases the series' signature skylounge with sofa seating on both port and starboard sides, along with the option to install an 85-inch television screen. Sliding doors lead to the enclosed wheelhouse, while an al fresco dining table is located aft. The aft deck is one of the most customizable spaces on the model, offering options such as a spa bath, a bar, a tender crane, or a clear area for modular furniture. The final outdoor hub is the flybridge foredeck, featuring forward and aft-facing seating areas and a coffee table that can be converted into sunloungers by adjusting the backrest.
The X90 is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 28 knots. According to BOATPro, Princess Yachts currently has 18 yachts on order or under construction. The shipyard is also debuting the first S80, the flagship of its S Class range, at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival.
