The private healthcare sector has recruited 425 Emiratis following the signing of Studying Citizen Employment Contracts, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. This recruitment follows their participation in Nafis’ National Healthcare Programme. The Ministry further stated that efforts are underway to employ over 1,600 UAE citizens who are part of the programme.
The authority has partnered with Nafis to implement the Studying Citizen Employment Contract, which provides students with company sponsorship and a minimum salary of Dh4,000, paid via the Wage Protection System. Students must also be enrolled in an authorized pension fund and are eligible for financial rewards from Nafis based on their academic performance. Upon completion of their studies, they will be formally employed by the company and continue to receive financial support from Nafis in line with their educational achievements.
Furthermore, students employed under the Studying Citizen Employment Contract contribute to the company’s Emiratisation targets.
