Q Mobility, a venture initiated by Abu Dhabi-based investment holding firm ADQ, has assumed control over the operations of the Abu Dhabi Toll Gate System (Darb) and the Abu Dhabi Parking System (Mawaqif). This enterprise is an integral part of ADQ’s transportation and logistics portfolio, which also encompasses Abu Dhabi Airports, Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Etihad Airways, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, and Etihad Rail.
Under the oversight of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, specifically the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), Q Mobility is tasked with delivering intelligent, sustainable transportation solutions. The company’s portfolio, which includes Abu Dhabi Airports, Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Etihad Airways, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, and Etihad Rail, underscores its strategic importance within ADQ’s broader objectives.
Launched in 2021, Darb is responsible for managing eight toll gates located across the primary bridges connecting to and from the city of Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, Mawaqif, established in 2009, offers drivers in the emirate access to organized public parking facilities that leverage digital technology.
