Bollywood star Radhikka Madan is garnering attention for her recent film, Sarfira, co-starring Akshay Kumar. Directed by Sudha Kongara, an Indian National Award recipient, the movie offers an engaging narrative set in the vibrant context of India's thriving start-up scene and aviation sector.
Madan, reflecting on her part in the film, voiced her deep-seated love for acting, emphasizing how it enables her to live out her dreams vicariously through her roles. She stated, "I believe I can realize all those dreams I missed out on through my characters," and shared, "I never finished college; I began working at 17-18. So, playing a role in English Medium also fulfilled that personal dream for me."

Madan described her character, Rani, as spirited, ambitious, and self-reliant, traits that drew her to the role. She explained, "I became an actor because I easily tire of a single life and seek challenges." She also commended Kumar's professionalism, noting their strong on-screen chemistry.
The actress emotionally recounts seeing her name in the credits, a moment that deeply moves her and her family. Madan also discussed the film's depiction of evolving societal norms, particularly the increasing acceptance of dual careers in relationships.
