British radical preacher Anjem Choudary, whose followers have been implicated in various global plots, received a life sentence with a minimum of 28 years on Tuesday for leading a terrorist organization.
Choudary was found guilty last week of heading al-Muhajiroun, an organization outlawed as a terrorist group over ten years ago, and for urging others to back the banned entity. The 57-year-old was given a minimum term of 28 years at London's Woolwich Crown Court.
