Various areas of Abu Dhabi are expected to experience rainfall of varying intensity from Monday, October 7, until Wednesday, October 9, according to the AD Media Office. The public has been urged to exercise caution during these days.
A report by the National Centre of Meteorology, released earlier, attributed the upcoming rainfall to surface low pressure and a 'relatively cold air-mass in the upper levels'.
The Abu Dhabi authority further noted the possibility of light to moderate rainfall, particularly in the interior areas, accompanied by fresh winds in the coming days. In Al Ain, light, moderate, and heavy rainfall is anticipated, possibly accompanied by fresh to strong winds.
Al Dhafra is also expected to see light to moderate rainfall in various areas, with fresh to strong winds. The authority advised the public to follow modified speed limits, avoid travelling to valleys, and carry first-aid kits and alternative light sources.
