Today, some regions of the country are anticipated to experience another rainy afternoon, with showers expected to persist until Sunday, according to the UAE's Meteorological Department. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) noted that areas in the eastern and southern parts of the Emirates are likely to receive some light rain. On Friday, the rainy weather was accompanied by ice pellets, and it remains uncertain if the dense clouds in certain areas will result in hailstorms again today.

In general, most parts of the country will experience clear to partly cloudy skies. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, ranging from 15 to 30kmph, but could become brisk at 40kmph, leading to dusty conditions. Temperatures are forecasted to reach up to 47 degrees Celsius in parts of Abu Dhabi and 42 degrees Celsius in Dubai. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to have calm waves.
