As Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 drew to a close, Ranvir Shorey, who secured the second runner-up position, reflected on his arduous journey through the reality show. Hosted by Bollywood star Anil Kapoor, the season ended with TV actor Sana Makbul as the champion, while rapper Naezy took the runner-up title. In a heartfelt interview post-eviction with ANI, Ranvir Shorey shared his feelings about the competition and his experiences, stating, "I made it to the final three, and that's quite an achievement." He further commented on the dynamics of the show, "Winning Bigg Boss' favor and garnering more votes is the key to victory—just like in life."
Shorey also discussed the challenges he faced during his 42-day stint on Bigg Boss OTT 3, admitting, "Being away from family and living with 15 strangers in isolation was extremely challenging." He described the experience as "very tough," emphasizing the hardships he endured while confined in the house. Despite the intense environment, Shorey gained invaluable lessons and memories, saying, "I've made memories that will last a lifetime. The hardships inside the house made it a very tough experience." His time on the show also led to significant personal growth, as he observed, "I've learned a lot, gained experience, and created lasting memories."
Throughout the season, Shorey developed strong bonds with several housemates, including Armaan Malik, Deepak Chaurasia, and Kritika Malik, but also faced conflicts with some contestants. He expressed his appreciation to the audience for their support, especially considering his lack of social media presence. "Reaching the top three is solely due to the audience's support," he stressed. Looking forward, Shorey reiterated his main goals beyond reality TV, "My core ambition is not to win a reality show; it's in filmmaking and acting. I'm looking forward to new challenges after these 42 days." He also hinted at an upcoming project, a show titled Shekhar Home, which will star KK Menon and is set to release on Jio Cinema on August 14, 2024.
