As New Year's Eve, one of the UAE's most anticipated events, approaches, Ras Al Khaimah has unveiled an extensive celebration plan for the occasion. The RAK NYE Festival is scheduled for December 31, 2024, and offers free entry to all attendees. However, certain activities, along with food and beverages, will incur charges. The festival site, just a 4-minute drive from BM Resort, features parking areas conveniently located near the event grounds.
In addition to food trucks serving a diverse array of cuisines, a bar will be available where visitors can purchase both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Renowned performers, including Mukhtaar (Arabic rap), Fahmil Khan Band (Bollywood music), and an international DJ, are set to entertain the crowd. The fireworks display will commence just before midnight.
The fireworks can be viewed from multiple vantage points, such as the entire Marjan Island, the waterfront area between Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village, the RAK NYE Festival grounds, and parking zones including Dhayah, Jais, Yanas, and Rams. For those interested in BBQ and camping, Al Rams Parking zone is the designated area for grilling, equipped with specific BBQ spots and disposal bins for charcoal. Visitors are required to use these bins and avoid burying charcoal in the sand. This zone is family-friendly, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for grilling. Vehicle registration must be done online in advance.
For caravan or RV owners, Dhayah Parking zone offers spacious camping facilities opposite the festival grounds. Tent camping enthusiasts can find designated areas with BBQ facilities in Al Rams Parking zone. Both zones are strategically located near the event, providing a comfortable camping experience. Vehicle pre-registration is mandatory to facilitate smooth entry and exit.
