Ras Al Khaimah has emerged as the premier destination for expatriates worldwide, according to a survey by InterNations, the largest global network for expatriates. The emirate secured the top position among 53 cities surveyed, marking it as the 'leading global destination' for expats to reside, work, and explore. The survey evaluates cities based on four key aspects: Administration (ease of obtaining a visa, navigating local bureaucracy, and opening a bank account), Housing (affordability and accessibility of housing), Digital Life (availability of online government services and high-speed internet), and Language (ease of integration without fluency in the local language).

In addition to its overall high ranking, Ras Al Khaimah placed second in the 'Working Abroad' category and fifth in 'Ease of Settling In'. Notably, nearly three-quarters of respondents found it easy to secure housing in the emirate. Regarding the housing market, local bureaucracy, and language challenges before relocation, 69% of respondents in Ras Al Khaimah reported no concerns, compared to 29% globally. InterNations boasts a global expat community of over 5.4 million members across 420 cities in 166 countries.
