After a two-year absence from the media, Raza Beig, a prominent figure in the retail sector, has returned to the spotlight. This time, he aims to integrate his retail expertise with the revolutionary potential of blockchain technology in the art realm through his newest venture, Artfi.

"I've taken a media break for the last two years as I've been deeply engaged in developing the vision for Artfi alongside founder Asif Kamal and co-founder Aly Raza Beig, focusing on the intersection of traditional art and contemporary technology to democratize art ownership," explains Beig, who is also a seasoned art collector with over thirty years of experience.

By utilizing blockchain technology, Artfi intends to broaden the accessibility of high-value art to a worldwide audience. The platform launched with a Token Generation Event (TGE) on June 17, 2024, aiming to revolutionize the traditional art investment sector. Over the past two years, Artfi has established collaborations with several acclaimed artists and celebrities, such as Sacha Jafri and Bollywood star Salman Khan, to fractionalize their artworks, making them more accessible to the public.

"This lucrative industry has been historically out of reach for centuries, and for the first time in art history, individuals can easily engage with the art and its business," Beig notes. His son, Aly Raza Beig, a co-founder of Artfi, has been instrumental in combining Raza's passion for art with advanced technology, thereby expanding the possibilities in the art world.

"I am confident in Artfi's ability to reshape how people interact with art. By making art ownership more accessible, we're not merely selling art; we're offering a new experience," Beig states. "Art has always been a personal passion of mine, and witnessing its evolution in this manner is genuinely thrilling."

Raza Beig's journey also underscores Dubai's position as a center for innovation. "Dubai has consistently been a leader in merging tradition with innovation. Artfi reflects this ethos, and I am honored to be part of this pioneering endeavor," Beig comments. As Artfi gears up for its initial phase, Raza Beig anticipates the platform's influence on the art market.

"We are at the threshold of something remarkable. I encourage everyone to join us on this transformative journey and observe the evolution of the art world," he concludes.
