Rebirth Island has been temporarily removed from the Call of Duty: Warzone playlist due to 'map-specific issues,' just hours after its return. Players are eagerly awaiting updates from Treyarch to determine when the map will be reinstated.

This period of activity for Warzone follows its significant integration with Black Ops 6 and the launch of Season 1 last week. The update introduced Black Ops 6 operators, weapons, and game features to Warzone, along with the new Area 99 Resurgence map. However, the integration has not been without its challenges. Players have encountered issues, particularly with game audio and performance on PC.

Players were excited to revisit the popular Rebirth Island map when it was reintroduced to Warzone with this week's playlist update. Unfortunately, the map was removed from rotation just over three hours after its addition. Treyarch has indicated that the issue is specific to the map and that 'other maps and modes remain unaffected.' Further updates will be provided, but the timeline for resolution remains uncertain.

The Warzone development team has been actively addressing issues related to the Season 1 launch, with the first patch released the day after the season began. Other updates from the CoD Updates X (formerly Twitter) account indicate that several issues have already been resolved. Players can hopefully expect to return to Rebirth Island soon, but for now, they will need to focus on exploring Area 99.
