A red alert was issued by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Tuesday as fog continues to envelop parts of the UAE. The weather department informed residents about a decline in horizontal visibility, which could further decrease at times in certain coastal and inland areas until 9:30 in the morning. Abu Dhabi Police advised motorists to drive with caution due to the reduced visibility caused by the fog. In a post on X, the authority encouraged drivers to adhere to the changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards.
