A native kestrel falcon of the Hajar mountains was rescued after it became trapped in a residential building. The distressed bird was reported to the Fujairah Environment Authority through their hotline. The biodiversity team successfully extracted the falcon from the building and conducted a thorough examination. They ensured the bird was unowned before fitting it with a unique coded ring specific to Fujairah. Subsequently, the falcon was released back into its natural habitat. The Fujairah Environment Authority maintains dedicated technical teams to handle environmental crises at all times.
