The Lamborghini Revuelto, a worthy successor to the Aventador, has quelled fears that the automaker would compromise the iconic V-12 engine. Instead, Lamborghini has preserved the V-12, enhancing it with three electric motors. Aftermarket tuner Underground Racing is set to further elevate the hypercar's performance by integrating its powerful titanium twin-turbocharger system, as previewed in a recent Instagram video.

This upgrade is expected to double the horsepower, leveraging Underground Racing's twin-turbo setup featuring billet wheel Precision turbochargers. The target is an impressive 2,000 horsepower, a significant leap from the stock 1,001 hp. The Revuelto will be equipped with a fully rebuilt engine and the tuner's proprietary JRR M1 engine management system. The stock 6.5-liter V-12 hybrid already delivers 793 pound-feet of torque, and with the twin-turbo system, this figure is anticipated to rise, alongside the engine's standalone torque of 535 pound-feet.

The Revuelto's acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds is expected to improve, potentially shaving off a few tenths of a second with Underground Racing's modifications. If the company's claims hold true, this could mark the world's first twin-turbocharged Revuelto. However, given the model's popularity and the fact that it is sold out through late 2026, it's likely that more such tuned Revueltos will soon grace both roads and tuning shops, as enthusiasts seek to maximize the hybrid V-12's performance.
