As with many other games, Psyonix's Rocket League is receiving a Halloween update, which will feature a variety of Spider-Man themed content centered around the franchise's heroes and villains.
The Haunted Hallows event kicks off this Friday, October 18, and will continue until November 4. During this event, players can engage in challenges to unlock rewards such as toppers and decals inspired by Spider-Man villains like Venom, Mysterio, and Green Goblin.
Spider-Man enthusiasts might find the Spider-Man Mega Bundle (approximately $25 USD) appealing, as it includes a plethora of items such as a Venom-themed goal explosion, decals for Spider-Gwen and Spider-Punk, a Web-head boost and trail, Spider-Man and Symbiote wheels, and a Spidey sense topper, among other things. A detailed list of all items included in the bundle can be found below.
Players are not required to purchase the mega bundle, as individual items and smaller bundles are also available for separate purchase. In addition to the Spider-Man content, Rocket League is introducing two limited-time Halloween modes: Spooky Cube and Haunted Heatseeker.
In Spooky Cube, the traditional spherical soccer ball is replaced with a cubical jack-o'-lantern. Meanwhile, in Haunted Heatseeker, the field is invaded by ghosts attempting to steal the ball and score. However, there's a twist: if your opponent blocks a ghost's shot, the ball will ricochet back towards your own goal.
