Rossinavi has revealed that it will showcase its latest groundbreaking project, Seawolf X, at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. The 42.8-metre hybrid-electric catamaran, delivered in August 2024, is currently sailing around the Saronic Islands in Greece, as reported by BOATPro. The exterior design of the vessel is the work of Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, marking their first collaboration since the 49.1-metre Aurora in 2017 and also Rossinavi's inaugural multihull venture. The Seawolf X features three distinct performance modes: it can operate entirely in electric mode for day trips, 90% electric for multi-day journeys, and 80% electric for transatlantic voyages. When docked, it enters a hibernation mode to minimize energy use, with the option to return generated power to the dock or a private property. It can fully recharge in five hours and has the capacity to power an entire villa. Rossinavi has integrated an onboard AI system, Rossinavi AI, to optimize vessel operations, anticipate guest needs, and guide crew towards eco-friendly practices. The AI also manages the battery levels to maintain them between 20% and 80%. The sleek exterior, akin to a sports car, challenges traditional catamaran designs, with solar panels integrated into the structure and lightweight solutions enhancing both aesthetics and efficiency. Meyer Davis, a New York-based design firm, has crafted an interior that blends relaxed luxury with sustainability, inspired by natural elements like the sun, sea, and sand. Notable amenities include a pool-centered cockpit, a spacious sundeck, and a bow area with a concealed pool and a convertible home theatre. The vessel accommodates up to 10 guests in four cabins. Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi, expressed pride in the launch of Seawolf X, the first hybrid-electric multihull, highlighting its innovative power and propulsion technologies. Seawolf X also adheres to the BlUE label, Rossinavi's sustainability philosophy, which utilizes photovoltaic technology to store and release energy, creating a bioluminescent effect. The yacht is available for charter through Cecil Wright at a rate of €380,000 per week.
