Ryan Reynolds shared a touching story about Hugh Jackman performing songs from 'The Greatest Showman' for his children, as reported by People. He disclosed that he caught his co-star from 'Deadpool' and 'Wolverine', aged 55, singing along to the movie's hits with his kids. 'I walked in, heard 'The Greatest Showman' playing, and turned the corner to find my kids watching the movie and singing along,' he recounted. 'Hugh was performing with them, just like a big kid.' Reynolds emphasized, 'This is a true story, I'm not fabricating it.'

Interestingly, these two friendly rivals have been promoting their upcoming film, the much-awaited 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. This movie will introduce the X-Men into the Disney-owned Marvel Cinematic Universe, following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, under which the first two 'Deadpool' films were released. Reynolds, who has daughters Betty, James, and Inez, and a fourth child with wife Blake Lively, mentioned, 'Actually, you're not wrong. My kids watch 'The Greatest Showman' all the time.'

Reynolds described the spontaneous moment as 'one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful things I've ever witnessed', noting that Jackman has outdone him in both musical performances and as a father. He admitted that after this event, he realized nothing he could do would surpass what Hugh did for their children. Earlier, Reynolds recalled, 'Shawn Levy once told me something that stuck with me forever, that people usually only discuss their victories. But I believe it's crucial for your kids to know that you also face losses.'

'You don't always get what you want. Sometimes, something you worked hard on doesn't succeed,' Reynolds continued. 'You might feel embarrassed today, or did something that didn't feel right. It's so important that [your kids] see that and don't just hear, 'Oh, Dad nailed it.' Because you lose much more than you win.' 'Deadpool & Wolverine' hits UAE theaters on July 25.
