Salik Company PJSC, the sole toll gate operator in Dubai, recorded 238.5 million vehicles traversing its eight toll gates between January and June of this year, leading to a half-year revenue of Dh1.1 billion, a 4.9 percent increase compared to the same period in the previous year. Toll usage revenue, which accounts for 87.1 percent of the total, increased by 4.9 percent year-over-year to reach 953.8 million. During the first half of 2024, Salik reported an EBITDA of Dh738.4 million, a 6.5 percent year-over-year rise, and a profit before tax of Dh598.6 million, up by 9.2 percent year-over-year. The company also generated a net profit after tax of Dh544.8 million during this period. In light of these robust financial outcomes, Salik announced the distribution of interim cash dividends totaling Dh544.8 million, or 7.263 fils per share, to be paid on September 5 of this year.
