Bollywood celebrities Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna are gearing up to commence shooting for their new venture, Sikandar. On Monday, the production company, Nadiadwala Grandson, shared on social media: '#NGEFamily is thrilled to announce the start date of our shoot for #Sikandar on June 18th featuring the LARGEST Air Action sequence! #SajidNadiadwala's #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss. Coming to theaters EID 2025.' A post was shared by Nadiadwala Grandson (@nadiadwalagrandson). Last month, the production company revealed that Mandanna, famous for her role in Animal, would join the cast. The announcement stated: 'Introducing the amazing @rashmika_mandanna to star alongside @beingsalmankhan in #Sikandar! Eagerly anticipating their on-screen chemistry for EID 2025!' Mandanna also shared on her Instagram Stories, 'You all have been waiting for the next update, and here it is. Surprise!! I am truly thankful and privileged to be part of Sikandar.' This film signifies a reunion for Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, who have collaborated on films like Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. The film is to be directed by AR Murugadoss. Additionally, Khan will appear in Aditya Chopra's Tiger Vs Pathaan. Mandanna is set to star in Pushpa 2: The Rule, slated for release on August 15, 2024, and later this year in Kubera.
