The Ministry of Haj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has commenced issuing visas for Umrah, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Thursday. The upcoming Umrah season is set to begin in Muharram 1145 Ah (July 19). Individuals interested in participating in the ritual can now apply for electronic visas via the Nusuk application. This initiative is designed to facilitate the smooth entry of pilgrims into the Kingdom and to enhance their overall experience. The ministry is committed to increasing the capacity for pilgrims and delivering services that align with their expectations and desires, according to SPA. Previously, Saudi Arabia had halted the issuance of Umrah visas through the Nusuk app to gear up for the Haj season, with the suspension in effect from May 23 to June 21. During this time, all categories of visit visa holders were prohibited from entering Makkah.
