Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Israel's recent attack on Iran and reiterated its stance against the ongoing escalation in the region. Israel claimed responsibility for striking military targets in Iran on Saturday morning, citing retaliation for Tehran's earlier attacks on Israeli territory. These actions mark the latest in a series of escalating hostilities between the two heavily armed adversaries. Iranian media sources reported multiple explosions that occurred over several hours in the capital and at nearby military installations, beginning shortly after 2am local time (2.30am UAE time).

In a statement released on X, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong disapproval, stating, "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strongly condemns and denounces the military targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which constitutes a clear violation of its sovereignty and a breach of international laws and norms." The statement further emphasized the Kingdom's unwavering position against the escalation of conflict in the region, warning that such actions threaten the security and stability of the countries and peoples of the Middle East.
