A Saudi national received the death penalty on Thursday, July 11, following multiple terror acts, according to the country's Ministry of Interior. Muhammad bin Saeed bin Jawad Al Ateeq was charged with financing terrorism and affiliating with an extremist group. He was also involved in attacks on police stations, security checkpoints, and patrols. Al Ateeq aimed to kill security personnel by firing at them and stored lethal weapons and explosives at his residence and those of his relatives. Additionally, he facilitated resources for other organization members and stole vehicles to aid in his criminal activities.
