Scuf has unveiled a special Squid Game-themed edition of its Instinct Pro wireless controller, designed for both Xbox and PC gaming enthusiasts. Priced at $240, this exclusive gamepad is set to release on December 20, with preorders currently available at Best Buy. While the aesthetic design is distinct, the controller retains all the features of the standard Scuf Instinct Pro, such as four rear remappable paddles and the capability to store and switch between up to three button mappings with a single press. Additionally, it offers interchangeable thumbstick options, including a taller stick with a domed top, and incorporates Scuf's Instant Triggers (trigger locks). This controller is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC, supporting both wireless and wired connections.

At just $10 more than the standard Instinct Pro, the Squid Game Pink Guard Edition presents a compelling choice for those who are both fans of the show and in need of a high-performance controller for Xbox or PC. However, if the feature set appeals to you but you prefer a different color, the Scuf Instinct Pro is available for $190 (down from $230) at Amazon and Best Buy. Color options vary by retailer; Amazon offers Gray, Black, Blue, and Red models, while Best Buy discounts the Steel Gray, White, and Red Fracture versions.

For a more budget-friendly alternative, the Scuf Envision Pro wireless PC controller is currently priced at $150 (originally $180). This PC-exclusive model boasts a slightly different design but includes many of the same functionalities, such as swappable thumbsticks, adjustable trigger sensitivity, four remappable buttons, and button mapping profiles. It also features an additional set of side-mounted buttons and five extra programmable buttons on the front face of the controller. Available in Steel Grey, White/Gray, and White/Black color schemes.

The Scuf Instinct Pro is among the numerous pro-style controllers vying for attention against Microsoft's Elite Series 2 Pro, which we consider the best premium Xbox controller. It's important to mention that the Elite Series 2 is currently on sale at its lowest price of the year across multiple retailers. You can purchase the Elite Series 2 for just $124 at Walmart or Amazon, or $125 at Target. However, be mindful that Amazon estimates delivery will not occur until January.
