A brief security alert temporarily disrupted King Charles and Queen Camilla's visit to the Channel Island of Jersey on Monday, but the royal couple quickly resumed their activities.

The royals were attending the Jersey Expo event when they were escorted away by their aides due to a minor concern. Video footage captured a member of the royal staff speaking to Camilla and guiding her away as she continued to enjoy her ice cream. It was soon revealed to be a false alarm, and the scheduled events continued after a short interruption.

Buckingham Palace chose not to comment on the matter. This incident occurred just two days after an assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump during a campaign rally.
