A Bengaluru-bound Indian budget airline received a security alert on Wednesday, according to ANI. The Akasa Air flight, which was en route from Delhi to Bengaluru, triggered the alert, as confirmed by the airline's spokesperson. The airline's response team is currently monitoring the situation and has instructed the pilot to divert the flight to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. The aircraft is carrying 74 passengers, three infants, and seven crew members. The flight is expected to land at Delhi airport around 2pm as the captain adheres to all necessary emergency procedures, according to the Akasa Air spokesperson.
