Famous Indian playback singer Shaan is set to perform for the first time at Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena on August 31. The concert, named 'Live, Love, Laugh Shaan Se,' will showcase classic Bollywood hits from the last four decades. Known for his versatility, Shaan has contributed to numerous top Bollywood films and produced popular tracks like Tanha Dil and Chand Sifarish. With over 3000 songs recorded and several TV shows hosted, including Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and The Voice India, Shaan is thrilled to perform in Dubai, noting the city's energetic audience. The concert will feature a live band, choreography, and visual elements, promising a dynamic show.
In an interview, Shaan expressed his enthusiasm for returning to Dubai, especially to perform at the highly acclaimed Coca-Cola Arena. He is excited to introduce new elements such as choreography and dance to his Dubai show, aiming to deliver a comprehensive performance that includes singing, interaction, and choreographed dancing. The concert, themed around life, love, and relationships, will also feature dancers and mashups of his older songs, aiming to provide an entertaining and meaningful experience.
Shaan shared his pre-concert rituals, which include voice warm-ups, light exercises, and a blessing from his wife and mother. He emphasized that each live performance remains unique and unpredictable, with the first 15-20 minutes always filled with nervous energy. However, he feeds off the audience's energy to create an unforgettable experience.
Describing the Dubai crowd as the best outside of India, Shaan reminisced about his memorable performances in the city, including those with his friend KK, to whom he plans to pay tribute. He and his family enjoy the shopping, dining, and family attractions Dubai offers, making every visit feel too short.
