Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, known for his candid confessions, stunned admirers on his birthday by announcing that he has quit smoking, a habit he once admitted to indulging in up to 100 cigarettes a day. During a fan meet-and-greet event held in honor of his birthday on Saturday, Khan addressed a lively crowd, saying, "There's a good thing - I'm not smoking anymore, guys." The actor, who stars in the upcoming film Dunki, revealed that while he had hoped quitting would alleviate his breathlessness, he is still in the process of adjusting to the change. "Mujhe laga tha ki I will not feel so breathless, but abhi bhi feel kar raha hu (I thought I wouldn't feel breathless after quitting smoking, but I still do)," Khan acknowledged, remaining hopeful that, "Inshallah, woh bhi theek ho jayega" (By God's grace, that will also be fine).

On his special day, Khan received heartfelt birthday wishes from his daughter, Suhana, and wife, Gauri Khan, on social media. Suhana shared a series of nostalgic photos, offering fans a glimpse into the cherished moments of Shah Rukh's personal life. She posted a touching collage of four vintage monochromatic snaps, capturing Shah Rukh's playful interactions with his children, Aryan and Suhana. "Happy Birthday (heart emoji). Love you the most in the world," she captioned one of the images. Gauri, on the other hand, gave a sneak peek into the actor's birthday celebration, sharing moments with her, Suhana, and their close friends. "A memorable evening last night with friends and family... happy birthday," she wrote.

Several Bollywood celebrities, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ananya Panday, Kamal Haasan, Farah Khan, and Vicky Kaushal, also took to social media to extend their best wishes to Shah Rukh on his 59th birthday.
