The Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) and Air Arabia have introduced Athens, the Greek capital, as a new direct destination for travelers via Sharjah Airport.
The inaugural flight from Sharjah to Athens International Airport commenced this week. This route will facilitate four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with intentions to expand the frequency in the future.
The launch event was graced by Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, and Antonis Alexandridis, the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the UAE, alongside other dignitaries from SAA and Air Arabia.
