Sharjah Airport and Air Arabia have unveiled the commencement of their inaugural direct flights from Sharjah to Poland, augmenting the travel choices available to customers. In accordance with their strategic expansion plans, the new service will commence with three weekly flights connecting Sharjah and Kraków, with intentions to escalate the frequency in subsequent phases. The inauguration of this new route was marked by the presence of Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), and Jakub Kacper Sławek, Ambassador of Poland to the UAE, along with other dignitaries and executives from SAA and Air Arabia.

Al Midfa emphasized that the introduction of this new air link addresses the burgeoning demand in the travel and cargo sectors between the UAE and Poland, coinciding with the strengthening of bilateral ties across diverse economic, commercial, and tourism domains, as well as the events and conferences industry. This initiative also reflects the growing tourist appeal of Sharjah, which boasts a rich tapestry of tourism, entertainment, natural, environmental, and cultural heritage offerings.

Sharjah Airport currently facilitates connections with 26 international carriers, providing access to over 100 destinations across 63 countries, thereby reinforcing its status as a favored travel hub.
