The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department announced on Friday the allocation of 640 prayer halls and mosques across the emirate for Eid Al Adha prayers. This includes designated chapels and public squares for the Eid prayers. The prayer facilities are distributed throughout the cities and suburbs, with 447 in Sharjah and the Hamriya region, 106 in the central region, and 87 in the eastern region. Special chapels and mosques are designated for non-Arabic speakers in languages such as Urdu, Malayalam, Tamil, and English. Additionally, the department has arranged for simultaneous sign language translation of the Eid sermon at the Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal Mosque in Al Jazzat for those with hearing disabilities. Coordination efforts include the Sharjah Police General Command, Sharjah Municipality, and other relevant authorities. Prayer timings are as follows: Sharjah and Hamriya at 5.44am, Al Dhaid and Al Bataeh at 5.43am, Madam and Maliha at 5.44am, and the eastern region at 5.41am.
