Anticipating a surge in travel over the Eid Al Adha festivities, the Roads and Transport Authority in Sharjah has augmented the number of inter-city bus services. The authority announced that 121 buses will be in operation, conducting 4,800 trips throughout the Eid holiday period, from Saturday, June 15, to Monday, June 18. The service will commence at 3.45am and continue until 12.30am, with a frequency of 10 minutes during peak hours. Additionally, Route No.203, which connects Sharjah to Oman, will have its first bus leaving at 6.30am and the next at 4.30pm. Public sector workers in Sharjah benefit from a 5-day break, thanks to their 4-day workweek.
