Over 80 ministers, government officials, business leaders, and investors from various countries will convene to discuss the newest economic developments, the revolutionary impact of AI on intelligent economies, and the strategies essential for fostering sustainable growth and development in multiple sectors at the seventh Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF 2024). Organized by the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) under the theme 'A Futuristic Vision for Smart Economies,' the event is scheduled from September 18 to 19 at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre. Renowned speakers will guide a series of high-level discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops focusing on pivotal topics such as the future of manufacturing, agricultural advancements, logistics innovations, and the role of AI in improving food security and supply chain management.
Key UAE figures set to address the forum include Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, and Khalifa Musbah Al Tunaiji, chairman of the Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock. The forum will also feature Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, CEO of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), and Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh, CEO of Invest in Sharjah. A notable lineup of influential CEOs from prominent UAE-based companies will also participate, including Khaled Al Huraimel of Beeah Group, Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi of Emirates Development Bank, and Hussain Al Mahmoudi of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.
The event will also host a diverse group of international experts and business leaders, such as Morgan Eldred, founder of Digital Energy, and Liesl Yearsley, CEO of Akiin AI. Participants will benefit from insights shared by entrepreneurs and business leaders with varied backgrounds, including Jigar Sagar of Triliv Holdings and Dariush Soudi of Arena Capital. The forum will also offer perspectives from Reg Athwal, founder and CEO of Verchool Holdings, and Briar Prestidge, founder and CEO of Prestidge Group.
Marwan Saleh Alichla, coordinator general of the SIF Committee, highlighted the forum's dedication to presenting leading local and international expertise in investment and development.
