Sharjah Police apprehended a criminal group that intended to clandestinely transport narcotics concealed within marble stones. The trio, who were guided by foreign drug traffickers, aimed to introduce over 226 kg of hashish, psychotropic substances, and narcotics into the country, camouflaging them within marble stones to facilitate their distribution and sale.
Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, commended the diligent efforts of the investigative teams in foiling this novel attempt to smuggle narcotics hidden in marble stones for the purposes of trafficking and promotion.
The Sharjah Police General Command also urged the community, encompassing both citizens and residents, to resist external enticements and to foster collaboration and shared responsibility with the police, by reporting any suspicious activities through the contact number 8004654 or via email.
