The Sharjah Women’s Sports Club, through its main and central basketball branches, engaged in three competitive matches against United Jeddah of Saudi Arabia. These matches were integral to their week-long training camp held in Sharjah. In the opening match, Sharjah's main team emerged victorious with a score of 39-35, whereas the second match resulted in a loss for the central branch team, ending 37-84. The third and concluding match saw Sharjah's main team secure a close win with a score of 63-60, thus concluding the Saudi team's training camp in the UAE.
Coach Waleed Al-Hujairi, the head coach of the Sharjah main branch, conveyed his satisfaction with the team’s performance against the Saudi team. He highlighted that the first game incorporated various tactical strategies designed to evaluate the team’s current capabilities following their preparatory camp in Turkey. Fatma Barakallah, coach of the central branch team, also expressed contentment with her players' efforts despite the defeat. She considered the match a crucial preparatory experience in anticipation of the upcoming official competitions this season.
