The organizers of the UAE's inaugural Holy Quran TV channel received commendation from Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a Member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah. During an interview on Direct Line, the Ruler advised reciters to select suitable readings and adhere to the rules for starting and stopping to preserve the meaning of the verses. Sheikh Dr Sultan observed that if a reciter halts before finishing a verse, they should "return to two words prior to the point where they stopped and continue reading until the verse is completed." He also instructed the channel's management to focus on exceptions, additions, and other considerations crucial for maintaining the clarity and meaning of the Quranic verses. Additionally, Sheikh Dr Sultan unveiled plans for a multi-story parking facility for visitors to the Hanging Gardens in Kalba, aiming to alleviate congestion at the city's entrance. Recently, access to Kalba through the Hanging Gardens was temporarily suspended due to overcrowding. Consequently, a multi-story structure with 3 or 4 levels, capable of accommodating 300 to 400 vehicles, will be constructed. An elevator will also be installed to assist those unable to use the stairs, according to the Ruler of Sharjah.
