Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, is representing the UAE delegation at the World Without Hunger Conference in Ethiopia on behalf of President Sheikh Mohamed. The conference, held in Addis Ababa, focuses on bolstering international efforts to promote innovative technologies and sustainable practices for global food security.
Upon arriving at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, Sheikh Khaled was greeted by Dr. Abiy Ahmed, the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. An official reception ceremony followed, featuring the national anthems of both the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia, and included a guard of honour review by the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and the Prime Minister.
In a brief meeting at the airport VIP lounge, Dr. Abiy Ahmed welcomed Sheikh Khaled and the accompanying delegation. Both leaders underscored the robust friendship and cooperation between their nations, emphasizing the need to strengthen these ties across various sectors and explore new avenues for collaboration that would benefit their peoples.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi is accompanied by an official delegation, which includes Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Mohamed Salem Al Rashdi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Ethiopia; and Omran Anwar Sharaf Al Hashemi, Assistant Foreign Minister of Advanced Sciences and Technology.
