Earlier this week, the UAE President met with US President Joe Biden, where strategic cooperation and regional concerns were discussed. Biden acknowledged the UAE as a major defense partner of the US following discussions that covered topics such as the war in Gaza and increasing Middle East instability.
Sheikh Mohamed also held a meeting with US Vice-President Kamala Harris. Both Harris and Trump are candidates in this year's US elections.
