Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was present at the official celebrations commemorating the 53rd UAE National Day held at Jebel Hafeet National Park in Al Ain, as announced on Monday.
In a social media post, Sheikh Mohammed conveyed his thanks to the organizers of the event. "Our gratitude and appreciation go to those in charge of planning, executing, and directing the most beautiful national celebration in the country, led by my daughter, Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Zayed, and her creative team," Sheikh Mohammed wrote.
"You brought joy...and created happiness...and we reminisced with you about unforgettable figures and moments in the history of the Emirates," he added. The 40-minute Eid Al Etihad ceremony, which showcased the nation's journey and the vision of its founding fathers, was attended by high-ranking UAE officials, including President Sheikh Mohamed. Key members of the UAE leadership, such as Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah; Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain; Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah; and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, were also present.
