Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, along with the Ruler of Dubai, toured the advanced global research hub of Himalaya Wellness located in Dubai Science Park on Tuesday, July 16.

Spanning 55,000 square feet, the center is instrumental in crafting a diverse array of products destined for export to more than 100 countries. During his tour, Sheikh Mohammed received an overview of the center's operations, emphasizing the creation and enhancement of natural pharmaceutical items, herbal remedies, and nutritional supplements.

"Research and development (R&D) stands as a critical pillar in the UAE's sustainable growth and a fundamental element in achieving our innovative and future-oriented vision. We are dedicated to furnishing the necessary infrastructure, supportive environment, and business-friendly assistance to ensure the expansion of this sector," remarked the Ruler.

By promoting collaborations between public and private entities, cultivating talent, and advocating for a culture of knowledge excellence, we strive to cultivate a vibrant R&D environment that keeps the nation at the cutting edge of scientific and technological progress," he added.

Established in 1930, Himalaya Wellness has evolved into a prominent global brand in herbal health and personal care, offering nearly 500 products worldwide. Its global research facility is among the R&D centers that have contributed to the robust, science-centric ecosystem fostered by the TECOM Group.
