This film also marked the beginning of careers for Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. To celebrate this significant milestone, Malhotra shared his gratitude on his Instagram story, thanking his fans for their unwavering support throughout his journey. Dhawan, too, acknowledged the anniversary. He posted a video on his Instagram Story, showing himself in a car listening to the song Ishq Wala Love from the movie. Student of the Year, released in 2012, was a story centered around love and friendship. Dhawan portrayed a wealthy bully, while Malhotra played one of the most endearing characters. Bhatt, on the other hand, played a fashion-obsessed, rich girl with a kind heart.
